Spray Tanning

Spray Tanning is an art! Although its a fairly straight forward treatment, getting the best results are all down to excellent training, great products and the most up to date techniques and knowledge.

We are excited to offer this in-depth Spray Tanning course that will allow you to offer high quality and professional treatments, which will in return, allow you to build a strong returning client base along with regular income.

We do not include a kit with this training course, to help keep the overall cost down. However, it will be required on the day of training so must be purchased ahead of the course. Many students already have a brand in mind that they will be using, so you can choose whichever brand you wish.

CHOOSE ANY BRAND YOU WISH

For this course, you can choose to work with any brand you wish! Sienna X, Crazy Angel and LA Tanning all offer fantastic products and great kit options.

LA Tanning offer a fantastic range of kits and their contents and prices are affordable. Perfect to get you started!

We can provide the use of our equipment for training day, but students will need to purchase their chosen spray tanning solutions to work with on the day.

Recommended Kit (NOT INCLUDED in cost, but required for training day)

1 x Tanning Machine
1 x Pop Up Tent
Light, Medium & Dark Tanning Solutions (or 1 x 10%-12% solution)
Disposable Hair Caps
Barrier Cream
Couch Roll or Blue Roll (large roll of tissue)

We also recommend having an old large towel or sheet to hand, to protect surfaces from overspray.

IS A MODEL REQUIRED?

YES! (unless there are 2 or more people on the course, then you can work on one another)

WHERE DOES TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

Training will take place in your own salon or home. Unfortunately we no longer have the facilities at our training centre to offer spray tanning. But we are more than happy to travel to you, for no extra cost (within a 8mile radius of Plymouth City Centre)

DO I GAIN A RECOGNISED QUALIFICATION?

YES! We are proud that ALL of our courses are fully accredited and students will gain a certificate and recognised qualification, here in the UK. Our courses are fully accredited with ABT. For many of our courses, you are required to submit case studies after the initial training day, for us to ensure you are competent and confident in the treatment, before issuing a certificate.

ARE THERE ANY CASE STUDIES?

For many of our courses (Spray Tanning included), you are required to submit case studies after the initial training day, for us to ensure you are competent and confident in the treatment, before issuing a certificate. This basically means, you will leave the course and get the opportunity to go home and practice your new skills on friends and family. You will then send clear before and after photos to your Educator, for them to assess. Your Educator will offer you some tips, guidance and support to help you to make improvements with each set. Once they are happy that you are working safely, that your competent and confident in the treatment, they will issue you with your recognised qualification and certificate. Students will get 3 months from the course date, to complete 2 successful case studies. We see case studies as a fantastic way to support students, even once the initial training day is complete. This also gives students a chance to continue to work closely with their Educator, until they feel ready to "go it alone".
